April & May

APRIL

Happy Easter from these matching gals! Love to grandma P for two+ years in these awesome dresses. She's a sewing genius!

Arden and Susan's first cruise! We waited to tell them about it till the morning they were leaving. They were so excited! June and Ruby got to hang at home with me and my big belly, oh and promises of going to Lagoon. Which turned into a few-day-stomach-flu..... almost as fun. hhaaha.

MAY

Memorial Day Hike with the girls. Our last little outdoor excursion as a family of 6!

Susan's Final Kindermusik Recital
She did an awesome job remembering all her parts and staying so focused the whole performance! She was all business and hardly even smiled, haha. I hadn't seen that side of her.
She nailed it - Way to go Suz!

Susan Jane had another exciting event - her first broken bone!
She fell off the monkey bars at school and hit her wrist on the ladder on her way down. The sad thing was mommy was at the phone store getting her broken phone replaced and daddy was in a meeting so she got dropped off to her emergency contact who is luckily our best friend and happens to be married to a family doctor/our bishop. They saved the day! Susan was so excited to have her first cast . . . for about two seconds. Then she realized after all the signatures and excitement she was left with only one good arm. It made for tricky, sloppy soccer games and no more monkey bar fun:((( Needless to say, she couldn't wait to get it off 6 weeks later!

Arden's Tour of the City Field trip
So fun to see all the old and significant homes in the area and end at the city museum to learn about life in here 100+ years ago. Lots and lots of rain came that day, which makes for a tricky "Walking" fieldtrip, haha. Moms ended up having to shuttle back to the school and come pick up all the kids, haha! Fun memory!

Arden's 3rd Grade Singing Program - "I Love America!" She sung with all her heart and knew every word. She is such a great performer and loves music in all it's forms.

Arden's class pictures for the year, had to document her oh-so-serious mug haha. Even without a smile, she's still such a beautiful little lady!

More spring fun! June and Ruby's last soccer game, complete with a trophy and lots of prizes from their amazing coach Lisa! They grew so much on this team this year. From being on the outside circle around the ball to scoring goals and playing defense, so fun to watch them!

May was also the last preschool field trip for June and Ruby. Arden and her friends even got to join us since it was the swimming field trip for their class that day and they could skip it. We have loved Little Starr preschool for so many years. Thanks to Teresa and Miss Tiffany for 3 amazing years with all my girls!!!

Ruby and June's first and last day comparisons:

 Silly Ruby!

Preschool Graduation for June and Ruby - they did so great on their parts and new all the words to the songs! So proud of my girls! May have cried a little, blame it on the pregnancy hormones;)
Celebrating with their bestie London!

Later that same day . . . .
Elementary School Assembly - Susan earned her Master of First Grade! So much hard work went into this! We are so proud of you Susan!
 Mrs. Kennington and Susan

Girls Night to a late movie to see Pitch Perfect 2. Guess I was too tired or too pregnant, fell fast asleep, haha. Love my cute friends though, sweet poses up front ladies, haha.

And at the end of May, these cute girls turned 5!!! We can't believe how fast the time has flown! They are such darling girls! They bring so much love, laughter, and light into our family. We feel so blessed they came to join us!

And our favorite 9 year old got a new haircut at the end of the year - she loves her long layers and does such a good job taking care of her hair and styling it. Love this Arden Bea!

Last day of 3rd grade for Arden, 1st for Suz.
Susan and Arden's first and last days of school comparisons:

June and Ruby's swimming lessons also happened in May - they rocked it! And are now swimming! A huge milestone for us to have all four girls water safe! Mom can officially enjoy the pool with her big belly from the sidelines, yea!!!

May brought a fun visit from these wonderful grandparents! So fun to visit with them at our Sunday gathering at Rob and Lisa's. We sure miss you Grandma and Grandpa!

After Arden's cooking teacher cancelled the rest of the year to remodel her kitchen, we finished out the year by doing our own co-op with the kids in the class. It was so fun! Love these cute kids! Leah, Sienna, Chelsea, Arden, Susan, Connor, and Brighton

Here are the cute hair and face paints from the end of the year school carnival, minus Arden. Missed her pic. Always a great time at Taylor's carnival!

And here are the girls painting baby's nursery. Boy or girl, grey is gender neutral haha.
