Fall

So here are some fun things we did this last fall.

When the weather was still nice, our family spent an afternoon taking the trains into the city, having lunch, walking around City Creek, and exploring the city a bit. It really was a lovely day. The girls are already asking if we can do it again in the Spring. Here they are on the commuter train - they thought it was so cool to sit on the top deck.

The kids favorite: Cheesecake Factory

Waiting for our Trax train to pick us up.

These two are just a complete crackup all day, everyday. Here are some pictures of their madness: dressing up in Ledo's (leotards), dance class with their cute little buddies, playing makeup, cruisin the golf cart their playgroup friends, and being best friends. It's a pretty great life they lead.

In October we had a great visit from my brother Brad and my nephew Spencer. They came for General Conference and since they live in Omaha we don't see them very often. It was such a treat just catching up and eating out - our two favorite pastimes, haha! Come back soon Palmer's!

Another fun event this fall was a neighborhood girls night/ Imagine Dragons concert. Thanks to our friend Stacey for getting us all tickets and Stacey, Amy, and Shelby for the fun matching shirts! When people asked us why we matched, we told them we were a roller derby team from Wisconsin, hahaha. It was probably not funny to anyone else, but we laughed pretty hard, heehee! And thanks to Mitch for watching the girls so I could go.

One of the last weeks of nice weather, we spent a day at the Hogle Zoo, just me and my girls. It was a beautiful day, and some much needed "us" time after the busy back-to-school schedule had set in.

Susan Jane has been loving her kindergarten class this year. For Thanksgiving they put on a fun little feast and the kids loved trying out the lunch room for the first time. This is her friend Lily. And she's on the bottom right of the classroom picture.

Thanksgiving morning my friends' Megan and Jackie and I ran a turkey trot up Emigration Canyon. It was a sunny, beautiful day with these two crazy gals - definitely a new tradition in the making!
