Back to school for these two cuties! Love them so much! I hate to admit this out loud but I really do hate when they go back to school and are gone all day. I miss them like crazy!
Susan: 1st Grade, Mrs. Kennington
Arden: 3rd grade, Mrs. Carbine
1st annual neighborhood back-to-school breakfast was a hit! So glad we did this, the kids loved seeing each other and were all so excited about the big first day! Our kids are lucky to have so many friends around the block.
Time to line up! Susan's first year of all day school:((( Fight back the tears momma, fight back the tears.
Best little buddies Ellie, Lindsay, & Adam
Here's Arden at her best friend Lexi's baptism, they have known each other since her mom and I met in the Church mother's lounge, haha. Love this sweet girl!
June and Ruby's first soccer season! They are loving it - especially because they have two of their best friends on their team and our amazing neighbor friend as their coach! Oh and because their uniforms are pink . . . some girls have all the luck;) Of course they came up with a simple and tough name for their team . . . the cotton candy pink flamingoes, haha!
Susan started her soccer season too and is loving it! She has such a fun personality for sports - positive, competitive, and oh-so-social. She makes friends with people in seconds - even the opposing players, haha.
Family Night Monopoly - they are excellent at the banking part (hundreds, tens . . . its all same) and property purchases - they just want to own the ones with pretty colors on the cards.
And here's a cute pre-church pic of Arden with her new scripture bag that Grandma Lamb gave her for her 8th bday/baptism. It is such a cool bag and even more amazing that Grandma has such a gift for creating things. Thanks Grandma Lamb!
June and Ruby started school a week or two after the big girls . . . they could not wait!
They affectionately call themselves the "Brownies" and the "Blondies" haha - goofballs!
More tears . . . oh dear!
Family Night Hike with some neighborhood families . . . we have some beautiful hikes within 5 minutes of our home. Lucky girls don't know how good they have it!
School picture day for Susan!
Arden was home sick as can be with Adenovirus, strep, then it turned out she had a penicillin allergy, poor girl! . . . June and Ruby also had strep and adenovirus and June's turned into meningitis. September was a rough month for our family. We had sick kids for 30 days in a row and someone home from school all month long. Needless to say we were glad when October came.
June's sweet teacher sent home all their fun school projects for her to do at home - she missed two weeks of school and Arden missed 8 days.
Ruby didn't get hit too hard and was back in action in no time. She got invited on a fun hike with her besty London and boy buddy Benson.
Another fun rainstorm!
June and Ruby celebrated their full recoveries with a neighborhood tea party. Cutie patooties!
One of the many dance shows our girls put on for us! Susan loves to be the teacher, and June loves to be the student. Ruby isn't so sure;)
Arrivederci September! You were fun while you lasted . . . but we don't want you back, haha!
