October 2014

October was a beautiful finish to our late Indian summer. Susan, June, and Ruby had soccer games nearly every Saturday and were very lucky to enjoy awesome weather for all but one game. Susan had an awesome first soccer season! She has the cutest little team and since she only knew one of the girls, she's made 8 new friends. She's loving it! She also scored lots of goals and is learning how to play different positions. Great job Suz!

Over a long weekend, we had cute cousin Rachel come stay with us for a couple days. She and Arden are the best of friends and love having time to play. Thanks Aunt Suzanne for letting her come!

While Rachel was here, we enjoyed another beautiful hike up in the mountains above the Bountiful Temple with the Platt's and the Stott's. The girls are getting to be so good with endurance and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Even though I've never been much of a hiker - we've begun to love this new family hobby.

We also swam at the Rec. Center and played on the fun water slides and water playground.

Of course a trip to the zoo was in order! We love this weather!

Random photo of these silly girls wrestling:)

As the days got shorter, we made the most of the amazing fall sunshine. June and Ruby had a really fun field trip to a pumpkin patch nearby. It was a blast with all their little preschool buddies!

Ruby was so excited to pick her own pumpkin! They also got to eat some fresh cabbage on the hayride - the kids all loved it - shocker!
Cute June and her picked pumpkin.

Their buddy Benson got to come with us in the car.

So did Tessa - we love our best friends!

Lisa and Londee

After the big slide - lookin dapper!

For no good reason we took a picture after church. It's always so fun to have matching dresses. I'm sure it won't last much longer - soon they'll laugh when I try to buy them matching clothes. Love these sweet peas!

Halloween time! June and Ruby on the way to their preschool party - they were the cutest cheerleaders!

Pumpkin cookies - mmm!
Their darling class all dressed up!
For Halloween night, June decided to be Mulan. So cute!

And somehow I did not take another picture - OOPS! Sorry Arden and Susan! I did not capture your cute pirate costume (Arden) and Jasmine (Susan). I am so sorry! My morning sickness had fully set in by this time and I was not at the top of my game.

One of our favorite fall traditions is to visit Pack Farms and pick out our pumpkins for painting.

And another cute Sunday shot - just because they are the cutest!
