Susan Jane - 1 week old

Susan Jane hit the one week mark yesterday. She's such a fun addition to our family and we're loving watching her little personality come out a little more each day. Here are some pictures of the last week's happenings.

Here's Arden coming to meet Susan for the first time. She was very gentle with her, but she was really more taken with the cool buttons on mom's hospital bed than with her new baby sister.
Susan coming home. Thanks so much to Aunt Suzanne for the cute homecoming outfit and for taking on the huge chore of taking Arden while we were at the hospital. We really are spoiled with the support we receive from our family.

One week old: I love her blond locks and cute crackly cry. She has a little chin rash here (and one on her bum), yet another sign that she is Mitch's daughter (bc of the hair and sensitive skin, not the bum rash - heehee).

The Rose's and the Searle's came up to visit on Monday night. It was so fun to watch the kids with little Susan. They were so taken with her cuteness. Unfortunately we couldn't get pictures with the Rose's bc they were sick with the cold Arden left at their house when they were tending her :( oops! Sorry again for that Suzanne! We owe you so big.

Suzy Jane's (just trying that one out) first bath at home. She didn't like the whole "sponge bath" idea like they did at the hospital - but once she was dunked in the sink, it was pure bliss. I just love her little body fitting in the sink. Precious, precious moment.

The Lamb Ladies chillin in the chair. Arden loves to get "up" with mom and baby Susan - I love to cuddle my two little ladies.

Grandma Palmer with Susan and Arden. We are sooooo thankful to have her here. We would not survive without her endless hours of cooking, cleaning, entertaining Arden, staying up with Susan, diaper changes, baths, and of course sparkling conversation. Thanks Mom - you are amazing!
