Today is January 7th. My doctor told me I would have a baby today. The countdown on my blog says zero days until my baby is born. My countdown on my body says zero minutes are left of this pregnancy. And yet here I sit, typing away, with a baby still attached to me and nary a contraction to speak of. So ya, just go ahead and shoot me in the head. The doctor won't induce me until I'm a week overdue, next Monday? Are you kidding me? And then I remember: try to be grateful, try to be positive, the baby doesn't know he/she is due today - no one told them. And the most important thing is a healthy, happy baby right? Ya, so just tell me that whenever you see or talk to me. Thanks.
