Pumpkin Fest

We are having the most beautiful fall! Despite how much I hate the winters here, it's almost worth it because the other three seasons are amazing. The sunsets are gorgeous, the leaves are changing and falling, and there's a certain fall smell in the air - its fantastic. We wanted to do something fall-ish and fun with the kids Saturday so we hit up the Thanksgiving Point Pumpkin Fest. There was so much to do and see. The kids were in heaven, especially Arden.

This carriage ride was particularly cool because we got to ride with Pumpkin Princess Penelope. (Sidenote: Arden's favorite book is called Princess Penelope and ever since we read it, she has us making up bedtimes stories based on this character. Long story, but anyway. It was like her dream come true. Who needs Disneyland with this goin' on?)
