Village Rendezvous

These are some wonderful girls and some dear friends of mine from BYU: Jennie and Paige. It's become our tradition to meet at Gardner Village once a year (at least) to have lunch and catch up. This rendezvous was especially impressive because there was so much accomplished since our last "meet-up" (as Meredith on The Office would say). I mean really, some people might have impressive career news to share or stories of moving or school completion; but not us. In one short year, the three of us have managed to add three new persons to the human race. Now that's a sense of accomplishment (or a sense of insanity, whichever you prefer)..Check out the now and then shots.

This time last year:The nature of this trip has also changed because the kids now rule our world. We spend less time relaxing, visiting/catching-up, shopping and more time managing our crazy offspring and keeping them entertained and distracted. Hence, a visit to the petting zoo was in order. Arden and Charlie are funnnny. They both loved it: Charlie was more cautious with the animals but wanted to climb on the equipment and play in the water, while Arden was having personal conversations with the animals. "Hey goats, how you doin today? Is that your mommy? Did you see these chickens?"
