Up to some good

I've always hated the phrase "up to no-good." So this one is all about the little things we've been doing that aren't really noteworthy, just day-to-day, what I consider "up to some good" things.

There's nothing worse than the flu, especially when it lasts 7+ days. But there's nothing better than your little one wanting to be held so they can "get all better".

Baths are such a party with these two. I just love gushy baby bum and splashy giggles. Refreshing and exhausting all at the same time - is that possible?

Our house is a constant costume party; day or night, someone is playing dress-up. Is there anything more quintessential than your little girl in your high heels?
Dum, dum, da-dum. This is scary-good wedding video material. You'll thank me later Suz.

(so this might be totally insensitive, but this outfit gave me flashbacks of Elizabeth Smart, pre-rescue, lol)

Making the best of something that wasn't so great, i.e. canning yummy Green Tomato Relish with a monster-size late-blooming tomato plant. (Thanks Shelby for your domestic-goddess expertise and thanks Mitch for the great green tomatoes!)

Enjoying the past and present: we went to the Pablo to Picasso art exhibit at the U, got to vist Mitch's new school, and finished it off with a beautiful drive up the canyon and a great breakfast at Emigration Market. A good use of a Saturday morning if you ask me.

Playtime outside. Perfect weather. Happy girls. All good.
