Arizona Spring Break - April
We spent our Spring Break in Arizona with cousins and had a blast as always! We were there over Easter weekend which was so fun to hunt and color eggs with cousins. We miss our Arizona family so much!

Early May Rainy Day - May
My girls love to play in the rain, any weather really, but there's something so refreshing about a warm spring rainstorm after the long cold winter.

So many shades of pink in this family, love our girly girls.

Just Jumpin' - April
My sweetie pies June and Ruby, thrilled to have a warm spring day to jump on the trampoline. They are so dang cute together, it never gets old watching them play.

Pixie Dust - May
Arden and Susan's letter to Tinkerbell, hoping for some pixie dust. Love how their imaginations work (most of the time;)! They did, in fact, receive some pixie dust the next day (glitter in a jar + glow stuff from a glow stick + shake ALOT = super happy Tink fans). Funny girls, they are always looking for magic in the world.
Cinco de Mayo - May
Neighborhood Cinco de Mayo party. This was our first time attending this fun neighborhood tradition and it did not disappoint! Pinatas, horchatas, empanadas - un muy bueno fiesta para un todo familia! Ariba!

Arden Bea
Arden being Arden:) Love my smart, sweet, and sassy girl.

Grandma Lamb Dolls - May
The Lamb girls with their most treasured dolls. Grandma Susan crocheted these incredibly detailed and adorable look-like dolls for each of her granddaughters. They are so special to each of the girls and to me, they are so unique and special. Thank you Grandma Lamb!

School Carnival - May
The Taylor carnival - Susan, Lexi, and Arden had a great time with the hair painting booth. Go Taylor Mustangs!

Arden and Susan's Dance Recital, Creative Arts Academy - May
This is Arden's fifth year of dance and Susan's 2nd (ballet and creative). They had a wonderful teacher, Miss Becky, and the girls were able to be in the same class with their best buddy Lexi! It was such a fun year - we love our little dancers!

Arden's 1st Grade Field Trip, Hogle Zoo - May
The first grade field trip to the zoo - it was fun to watch Arden with her peers. She loves field trips and anything out of the ordinary. She gets so bored with mundane daily routines and loves to change things up and do new things with friends.

Susan's Pre-k Fieldtrip, Wheeler Farm - May
Susan Jane's preschool field trip to Wheeler Farms. They loved learning how to push a plow, milk a cow, and care for farm animals.

Sweet Ruby getting ready for the hayride.
Susan's best buddy, Adam.

Susan is such an easy going and happy girl. She loves everything and everyone, especially sports, dance, reading, and friends - it's so fun to have such a positive and sweet girl in our home.

June-a-bug nervously excited about the hayride. She is the sweetest little thing and so soft spoken. It's nice to have one that isn't fighting to be heard all the time, haha!

Spring Swimmin' - May
First 90 something degree day and we are ready to rock this swimming season!
so dang fun having all girls - love their squeals!

June and Ruby Turn 3! - May
June and Ruby turned 3! So grown up! They have loved sharing a birthday week with their best buddies London and Tessa! This year we had a Hawaiian party in our backyard with all the families of the spunky girls. It was a blast for the girls and all the families. Happy Birthday June and Ruby!

Journal Alert:
These little birthday girls are a blast! June, the older sister, is happy, calm, easy-to-please, feminine, gentle, social, sweet, and strong-willed when she needs to be. She can be sneaky when she wants to be but mostly she is everyone's favorite to snuggle and hug and teach and play with because she loves going along with whatever activity Susan or Arden has planned for her and is so pleasant to have around. Ruby is nearly the opposite. She is loud, tomboy-ish, fiercely loyal and loving, demands attention, emotional (for good or bad), a leader, opinionated, hilarious, has an uncanny sense of humor and comedic timing, social, loves to snuggle, and loves to be outside on a bike. She needs more sleep and more cuddle time from mom but is such a funny and adorable little thing, you forgive her volume within seconds of hearing her sweet accent (no r's, l's, etc). The most amazing part of having twins is watching their relationship with eachother, they are best friends and give each other so much love, laughter, and comfort each. What a blessing to have had them come together. We love these sweet, spunky, and lovely little girls.

Movie Night - May
Most weekends include our girls in their pj's watching a movie with their favorite treats. We love this weekly tradition - they won't want to spend their weekends with us forever so we try to make the most of each one.

Susan's Pre-k Graduation, Little Starr Preschool - May
Susan did so great singing all about her letter names and sounds, days of the week, weather, colors, numbers, and even knew most of this in Spanish! Way to go!
She made me this awesome hat for the bug hokie pokie dance! It was so cute!
Susan with the wonderful Mrs. Starr, she's incredible at what she does! We are so lucky to have her!
Best buddies Macey and Adam

Susan's Gym Show - May
Susan has been doing gymnastics since she was three years old and has loved every second. She is very coordinated, strong, and graceful - it is so fun to watch her progress and love this sport.
Best buddies Arden and Adam

Arden's Kindermusik Concert - May
Arden has been doing a KinderMusik program with the amazing Anne Haacke for two years now. It is such a neat program where they learn to read musik on an age-appropriate level with several very basic instruments. I knew she was learning so much, but the culminating concert amazed us all! The group of graduates combined several different groups on all their different instruments to form an orchestra of sorts. With no backup music or any help from adults, they played some amazing music for a bunch of 7 year olds! Arden has such a gift for music, she was born with the ability to hear it and play it - plus she just loves to sit down and play. I love watching her develop this gift and hope it always brings her as much joy as it does now.
And of course, extra-curriculars are always more fun with a best friend in your class! Lex and Arden - way to go!

Arden's End of Year Program - June
Arden did an amazing job at her end of year program! She sang every word of her songs and smiled so bright! She is such a happy, social, sweetheart of a girl!
This year Arden worked extremely hard to achieve the Master of First Grade Award! It was an incredibly rigorous program to receive this award and Arden had to work at it until last day to finish all the requirements, but she did it! And we are so proud of her! Way to go Arden Bea! Unfortunately she missed the awards presentation as we had to head to Arizona for a Palmer Reunion, but her teacher gave her the special trophy and told her how proud she was of her for being such a diligent, sweet, and teachable student.
Enjoying watching our amazing Arden.
