The other perk for her was the sleepwear. She has been begging to wear her footy jammies for months so she was ecstatic to find out that was included in the deal.
This was a grand affair in the eyes of a 3 year old and she spent the first two hours of her campout literally bouncing off the walls of the tent. She thoroughly enjoyed every minute of her one-on-one time with her Dad. Too bad she only made it till 11:30 p.m. before telling Mitch, "Daddy, I'm too scared of the thunder (which was non-existent) and the crickets" (she thinks they're going to attack her, maybe she's been reading too much Mormon history). Made for a good time anyhow. Maybe next time she'll make it all night.
